Josh Cantwell serves as the head of offshore business at Ryan Specialty Renewables where he brings a unique skill set to the team. With a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Durham University, Josh began his career at Talbot Syndicate 1183 in Lloyd’s and underwrote upstream energy business over a period of ten years, ultimately concluding his time there leading the wider international team. Josh then joined GCube, where he headed the offshore wind team across three offices. His expertise extends to underwriting offshore wind projects across three continents.
Josh’s active participation in the Offshore Wind Sub-Committee to the Joint Natural Resources Committee has contributed to driving improvements in market standards. Leveraging his industry relationships and expertise, Josh is dedicated to growing a profitable book of business in the rapidly expanding offshore wind sector for Ryan Specialty Renewables.
